In December 2007 we have travelled to far northern Great Barrier Reef to film some sequences for my new feature film. We were lucky with the weather and we managed to film some rare marine life. The highlight of the trip was footage of Potato Cod (Epinephelus tukula) courting and spawning. After reviewing the footage, I concluded that was is the hottest, X-rated, hard-core fish porn I have ever seen. They even released eggs and sperm several times. We were lucky. It is a very rare and spectacular event. |

© 2007 Pawel Achtel, HDCAM footage frame HDCAM footage of Potato Cod courting and spawning was a success. We had clear water, no surge or current, camera and lighting worked perfectly and the fish weren't camera shy at all. |
